Preventive & Rehabilitative Care

The Orthopedic Center is a strong supporter of local community sports. Our Certified Athletic Trainer, KC Zomer, provides athletic trainer services to Easton and St. Michaels High School under the supervision of Richard J. Mason, MD, Medical Director of Talbot County Athletics. On the field, injured athletes will be evaluated by the trainer to determine the best course of treatment. The athletic trainer may recommend an exercise program or refer the athlete to Dr. Mason for further evaluation.

On Friday nights during football season you can expect to see Dr. Mason on field with KC as well as other sports throughout the year.

During the summer you will find KC at our Physical Therapy Sports Medicine Center running programs for athletes who want to enhance their strength, speed, and agility while learning about injury prevention.  Our goal is to give athletes the tools they need to stay in the game, increase their power and reduce injuries.
